Editorial and corrections policy
These pages help you prepare a test that you or your employer pay for, and know when a CACES expires. A wrong answer or an outdated rule can cost a failed test or driving without a valid authorisation: every rule therefore links to the official text it was read in.

What we read
The R489, R482, R486, R490 and R485 recommendations published by the French Health Insurance in their 2026 versions, articles R4323-55 onwards of the Labour Code on code.travail.gouv.fr, the order of 26 September 2025 on operator training, the order of 4 November 1993 on workplace safety signs, the CLP regulation for hazard pictograms, the service-public.gouv.fr and France Travail pages on funding, and the Mon Compte Formation catalogue published by the Caisse des Dépôts.
Writing the questions
Each question is written by us from one point of the recommendation’s syllabus, with an explanation saying why. We never take a question from a testing body, a manual, an app, another site or a real test, and we do not claim to give the official questions. The pictograms are drawn by us.
Refused sources
Forums, prep sites, training providers and comparison sites supply no figure here. A rule that cannot be found in an official text is not published.
Review
Rules are re-read by hand; each page shows the date of the last check. Course prices are re-read every week by a script that reads the official catalogue.
Corrections
- We re-read the official text.
- We fix the parameter or the question and add an automatic test.
- The site is rebuilt and shows the new date.
Independence
No testing body, training centre, staffing agency or public body pays for or reviews what is published here, and the site has no affiliate links. See also the method. Version: 2026-10-26.
